To assist the education agencies, school districts, and individual schools in the management of their career and technical education program offerings, MMCS Consulting has developed a fully integrated, internet-based software program, which will not only help in the management and tracking of such program offerings, but it could also play a critical role in the analysis of the progress being made by individual students to help in the formulation of informed policy decisions for the development and design of effective curricula. Such programs will not only engage the high school students in their daily schooling and assignments, but will also ensure a brighter and more secure future for them in this extremely competitive and truly global job market of the 21st century.

Rationale – Competitive Job Markets and Technical Education
The new millennium has begun with two important prospects:
  • The wondrous advances in science and technology
  • A global economy with competitive job markets where only those with the right combination of skills and knowledge succeed
The offering of Career and Technical Education at high schools is an effective, calculated measure for preparing the future workforce of our economy to meet such a challenge. With several local and federal grants as well as support from the US Department of Education, the education agencies and school districts across the nation are offering various career and technical education programs for their high school students.
Key Objectives
Our CATE software supports the implementation and management of Career and Technical Education programs in the public schools
  • It functions as an extensive repository for relevant, longitudinal information on student, school, district, and state-level activities related to Career and Technical Education program offerings at public schools. It maintains detailed student and program data aggregated at the school, district, and state levels for reporting and analysis purposes.

  • With its extensive analysis and reporting capabilities, it also serves as a decision support system to help analyze and measure educational progress leading to informed policy making decisions.

  • It also can help in meeting the critical compliance reporting requirements of the U.S. Department of Education for the "Vocational-Technical Education Basic Grant, Tech-Prep, and Core Indicator Reporting".
